Ingredients include 10kg Styrene-butadiene rubber, 55kg Sorbitol, 1.6kg Menthol, and 25kg prepared modified gum base.
The preparation method:
- Dissolving sorbitol in water to obtain the sorbitol sweetener solution.
- After melting the styrene-butadiene rubber, add the sorbitol sweetener solution, stir it until uniform, then add the modified gum base and menthol. Stir it evenly, and then cool and mold it to obtain a moisturizing-throat chewing gum.
The preparation method of modified gum base:
- Put 3.5 kg of gum arabic into 30 kg of water, and make the gum arabic fully swollen. Add 25 kg of nano-silicon dioxide and 4 kg of glycerol ester of rosin. Then stir it until uniformly mixed, cast it into a mold, and dry it to obtain the precursor of modified gum base.
- Immerse the precursor of modified gum base in a mixed aqueous solution of lemon juice and licorice extract. Swell it again for 5 minutes, then take it out and dry it naturally to obtain the final modified gum base; wherein, the mass ratio of the precursor of modified gum base to the mixed aqueous solution of lemon juice and licorice extract is 1:100. The mass percentage of lemon juice in the mixed aqueous solution is 4%, and the mass percentage of licorice extract (80 mesh) is 5%.
